Stylin' Up 2011

28th of May, 2011,
CJ Greenfield Sports Complex Freeman Road,
Freeman Rd, Inala,
QLD, Australia

Stylin’ UP will be celebrating it’s ELEVENTH YEAR on Saturday, May 28th. We inticipate that this year will be bigger than before with an expected 12,000+ to make their way towards Inala to witness some of the country’s’ finest Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Hip Hop music and dance artists, including Indigenous Intrudaz, Archie Roach, Impossible Odds, Last Kinection, Dust Dance Crew and a host of other talent.

Established in 2000 by local Inala elders in partnership with Brisbane City Council as a way of instilling their youth with pride in themselves, their community and their culture. The event has grown to become Australia’s largest Indigenous Hip Hop and R&B music and dance events that celebrates youth and contemporary Indigenous culture. Produced with and for young people in Brisbane and across Queensland, Stylin’ Up is also an award winning, nationally lauded contemporary Indigenous creative arts development program (winning the 2004 Premier of QLD award and a Reconciliation award in 2008).
